Volunteer Training: Single-payer is still the way forward
We are looking ahead to summer and all of the opportunities to promote the Minnesota Health Plan at fairs, festivals, forums, and picnics. With the passage of the federal health insurance reform bill and the upcoming election, the landscape has changed and people have new questions:
Why do we still need the Minnesota Health Plan?
How will the federal bill impact our single-payer efforts in MN?
How is the Minnesota Health Plan different than the Massachusetts plan?
Who is working on the Minnesota Health Plan?
Who opposes this and why?
If you want the answers to these and other questions, please attend one of these FREE volunteer trainings (click date to register):
Saturday May 15th 9:30-11:30 a.m.
