Rep. Keith Ellison hosted a Forum on Winning Single-Payer Health Care at Robbinsdale Middle School.
Rep. Ellison's forum focused on grassroots organizing for HR 676, AKA "Medicare for All," the national version of the proposed Minnesota Health Act. Many in the audience of 65 people were shocked to learn that Rep. Ellison is the ONLY Minnesota legislator who has signed on as a co-sponsor.
MUHCC and PNHP-MN member Ann Settgast did a great job as a panelist at this event, and both she and Elizabeth Frost successfully represented single-payer and HR 676 to the crowd.
